THE PRODUCTS
How do I wash my Carpit?
If there are tire marks left over from non-stop racing action, or you just drop some coffee on it, we suggest scrubbing your Carpit gently with a sponge and some bio detergent. Once you have given it the once over or cleaned a specific spot, leave to dry naturally.
Does my Carpit have anti-slip material underneath?
Yes it does! It's covered in tons of anti-slip latex dots to make sure that whatever surface it's on, it stays grippy like a fresh set of tires!
Are your products certified?
Yes, we are very proud to say that our Carpits® are OEKO-TEX certified. And our manufacturer is ISO-9001:2015 certified.
Does my product have warranty?
Yes, we offer a 12 month warranty on manufacturing defects for all of our Carpits. Just remember, wear and tear is not included, so keep the toy car drifting to a minimum... JOKING!
What is my Carpit made of?
Our Carpits are made entirely of Polyester, which means they are flame-retardant just in case there are any racing collisions or fires!
You don't have my dream track, what do I do?
Sorry we don't have everyone's favorite track (yet), but we are always working on new designs! If you can't wait, we do offer you the chance to make one-off and fully bespoke Carpits® - click HERE for more info!
Can I walk on my Carpit?
Of course you can! But we'd suggest walking on it in socks or barefoot, and not in shoes or race boots - this is just because wear and tear is not included in our warranty.
Why can I see white along the edges?
Because we can only print on top of the pile (to get the most colour and detail from our design as possible) it means that in certain places around the Carpit, the stiching pulls on the pile and shows the white base. This is not a structural issue at all. We are currently working on sampling new pile types to see if we can eliminate this in the future. But please rest assured, that your rug is not going to fall apart!
Is the big Carpits label always on show?
Absolutely not! It is actually stitched toward the inside of the Carpit, so it naturally wants to tuck away. But if you did want it on show, we purposely made it double sided so that you can fold it out from underneath and show it off to everyone 🏁
How do I get rid of the drift marks?
If you see white marks all over the Carpit that have been left behind by a toy car , just rub the material the opposite way with your hand and it will disappear, think of them as temporary tire marks💨
SHIPPING
How long will my order take to arrive?
It depends on where you live, race fan! All of our rates and delivery times are calculated for you at checkout.
Do you ship all over the world?
Yes we do! No matter where you are, we will make sure you can scratch your racing itch.
Will my Carpit arrive rolled or folded?
Rolled! We wouldn't want you to get any nasty creases in your Carpit.
Why is shipping so expensive?
It's so frustating having to charge what we do for shipping but sadly it's how things are these days... We actually make a loss on the shipping costs that we offer you at checkout. The other reason is because our Carpits are big and we want them to be rolled up to avoid any creases so our packages are classed as "oversized".
RANDOM STUFF
Do you sell toy cars?
We don't unfortunately! But hey, unnamed maker of tiny cars, if you're reading this, let's work together 😉
Will I get Carpit burn?
Carpits® will not be held responsible for any injury due to over excitment.
Will I improve my racing skills?
100% - just remember to always wear a helmet.
Is my Carpit pet-proof?
Hairs and slobber can all be cleaned up easily but if your cat decides to start making biscuits on your beautiful new Carpit - like ours has many times - it may end up with some pulled threads. So keep your pets claws in check! 🐶🐱
Are they real race tracks?
Although we drew some inspiration from some of the amazing race tracks around the world, our cartoon designs are completely original and we are not associated with or endorsed by any official race track organisations 🏁
